Also, I would love to have some more quotes to post on the website about the program (just email me)! Thank you!!!

Spider! By: Lydia Monks.

SuperStars! Get ready to creep and crawl around the dance floor as we explore spiders for Amazing Arachnids week! I will have a waiver for parents to sign before they start the class (Superstars-if you will be bringing a friend without a parent, I will email you the waiver to be signed ahead of time). Our Refer a Friend program is a great way to get you child's friends in class and earn some credit toward winter semester's tuition! When we come back from fall break, I will have winter semester schedule ready, Suzie Hatch (our service coordinator) will have a service project for us to participate in, and the website will be closer to being updated! I would love to add a little blurb from any of you on the website! Just jot it down and stick it in your folder and I'll post it on the site. I would love to hear your feedback about class times that work for you! If the time you are in is the only time that works for you let me know! Week 3-Mouseling Adventures! Professional photographer coming!!!

Week 3-Mouseling Adventures!

Before we speak about Mice, let’s take care of some housekeeping items! This week, I have a professional photographer coming to update the pictures for the website. Yes, this means your little one may be featured on the website! I would also like to add more quotes from some of you parents onto the website! If, you have a little blurb about your experiences thus far, jot it down and stick it on your folder on Friday! Next week, is bring a friend week! This means, if your little one has a friend that fits within the age limits of the class, he/she may come and enjoy the class with him/her! Be thinking of somebody to invite for next week!

Week three is all about acknowledging our little as the adventurous, energetic, and curious ones they are, plus counting! Mouseling Adventures week is a fun theme because mice seem to pop up everywhere in movies, plays, stories, cartoons, and songs! We have Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Tom and Jerry, ‘Twas the Night Before Christmas, The Nutcracker, etc! In many cartoons, we see people (especially elephants) acting afraid of the mice, but, mice are actually very gentle and social creatures!

RockStars! We will do counting activities with mice using the parachute, explore an obstacle course, enjoy the song Three Blind Mice w/sticks, make mice puppets to take home, and read the story Mouse Party by: Alan Durant!

Superstars! We will enjoy a game of Duck, Duck, Goose using the words “Squeaky, squeaky, Mouse!” (be prepared to run on the word Mouse), explore an obstacle course, sing Hickory, Dickory, Dock, and read Hickory, Dickory, Dock by: Keith Baker! *The shark books will be put it each of their folders! Please, grab them out of your folders on your way out! I was having so much fun playing Shark Tag that the shark books were forgotten!*

I’m excited for Mouseling Adventures week! See you, Friday!
